The Cause of Christ
For this cause I live, for this cause I die.
There is not much in this world we would die for, is there?
But, let’s cut to the chase, it’s what Jesus did for us.
Oh the grace of Jesus, oh the love of our Lord!!! Love, love indeed, lifted me!!! When I was poor and undone God sent His Son and He reached down His hand for us!
Hallelujah!!!
What amazing love that is? For while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Is this not the full and everlasting goodness of God? That there would therefore now be no more condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus?!
For this cause we live, the cause of Christ.
Be you filled with joy this very morning! For a moment, be still, sit in silence before the Lord, bring Him whatever is occupying your mind and weighing so heavy on your heart and say, “Lord, I know Who you are, I know that you are greater than this world, so Holy Spirit take over and fill me with your peace transcending all understanding!!!”
This is the cause of Christ, that you love the Lord your God with everything you have and that you love others as Christ has loved us, sacrificially.
For this very cause, choose to live today! In every moment, be filled with life and even when it’s hard, choose Jesus!
For this very cause, be willing to stand until death. Persecution looks a little different to some parts of this world than it did in the apostles’ time, but we are not called to anything less than what they did.
Our lives are not our own, they were paid for and bought by the blood of Jesus, so why wouldn’t we live it for the Lord wholeheartedly?? After all He’s done, choose you this very moment who you will serve.
Dear brother and sister, it’s the very least we could do to love the Lord for the rest of our lives.
Do you know what awaits us? There is no telling of the fullness of what Heaven will be, for it is far more glorious and far more full of joy than we could ever comprehend.
The cause of Christ, choose it, live it, die for it!
