The Word of God

The Word of God is waiting for you to read it!!!

I have seen times of doubt in my own life where I do not know what to do, which path to choose. But it is especially in those times that I know there is only one way to go, one path to choose.

The Word of God.

The Word of the living God is the way we must all choose in all moments.

We in America are blessed to see millions of copies of the Bible all around, to even have 2-4 copies ourselves in our own homes. I have seen and heard of countries across the world that have trouble finding a Bible, let alone a copy of the New Testament in a language understandable to them.

The Word of God, you have it right beside you, so easily accessible to you.

With questions in your mind, the Word of God so easy to find, and eyes to read, there is only one question pertinent to ask; why do we not read the Bible and find the answers we seek?

This world loves to use the words, “common sense.” This idea of a belief being so culturally obvious that it must be common within the minds of every person, and if a person does not believe the same then there is most likely something wrong with them.

Well, if we take that same logic and apply it to our personal situations, what do you find?

If we are struggling in emotions and difficulties and there is a book with the answers towards peace and resolution, what should be done?

We should read that book!!!

Every high-school student in pre-algebra longs for the answer key to the quiz they are taking.

Every spelling bee contestant would love to have a copy of the dictionary on stage with them.

Why do we not feel the same way when there is such easy access to the Word of God?!

You see, the Bible is the living Word of God, the accounts of God’s work throughout the history of all mankind and the encouragements, commands, prophecies which He has directly told you and me!

It is of the utmost importance, the greatest priority, that we all read the Word of God!!!

Dear Christian, do not remain in your struggles and heartache, trudging through this world as if it’s you against all the odds. The Bible says that greater is He Who is in you than he that is in the world. The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ has won the victory over all things, death is defeated and pain rules no more!!! O death, where is your sting?? O grace, where is your victory??

The Bible tells us the game plan and the end result!

Put your trust in the One above all things, pick up His true living breathing Word, and go!!

Live each day knowing you are loved by God and never forsake the ultimate blessing of His words directly to you and to me.
