Our Leadership
President & National Director
Kyle Austin has been faithfully preaching and teaching the younger generation of America since 2005. He began as a youth pastor from 2005-2008 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clayton, NC. God called him to preach in 2008, and he attended The Crown College in Knoxville, TN, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Biblical Studies-Missions degree. While there, he and his wife served in various ministries, including outreach, youth, children's, international, and nursing home ministries. He served as interim youth pastor at Eastside Baptist Church in Greeneville, TN, from 2011-2012. His vocational experience during this time includes being a branch manager at a building supply company and owning a landscaping and lawn care business. Amanda is a licensed cosmetologist and owned a hair studio in Clayton, NC.
In 2012, God called Kyle and Amanda to begin Collegians for Christ at App State and as a national campus ministry organization. They worked with a group of students to establish a ministry on the campus of Appalachian State University. Kyle served as the campus minister of the CFC ministry at App State for six years, during which Kyle also served as the chaplain of the App State wrestling team for 3 years. During this time, they organized Collegians for Christ to fulfill the great need to assist students and a sponsoring local church to establish Collegians for Christ ministries on their college campuses by providing the necessary assistance, training, and resources in order to start, maintain, and grow an effective campus ministry. Collegians for Christ was established as a 501c3 non-profit in 2018.
The Austins traveled the country full-time from 2018-2020, helping churches start CFC ministries. In 2021, they established a ministry at Pitt Community College, and in 2022, they assumed leadership of the CFC ministry at East Carolina University. In 2022, they founded the CFC Campus House as a ministry outreach to students. In 2024, Kyle established the CFC Bible Certificate program, which provides students with either a one-year or two-year advanced Bible certificate. Kyle recently fulfilled all the requirements of the Master of Ministry in Bible and Theology from Veritas Baptist College.
Amanda has served alongside Kyle in ministry since 2005. She has been effectively teaching and discipling young ladies throughout these years. They serve in ministry together along with their sons and would not have it any other way. Each one serves an important role, and together it all gets accomplished.
Currently, they lead the CFC national ministry, the ministry at East Carolina University, Pitt Community College, and the CFC Campus House while traveling the country training and assisting students and sponsoring local churches on how to reach their campus with the Gospel. God has allowed them to assist in starting over 50 campus ministries across the country. Their lives are given to reaching students by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching them life-applicable truths from God’s Word, connecting these students to other believers and a local church in the area, and equipping students to be leaders that impact their campus and community for its good.
