You Have the Choice!
As humans created in the image of God, there are many things we are given.
We have been given precious life, a variety of emotions, endless thoughts, and so much more.
Among the greatest blessings we are given, we are also given the ability to choose.
To choose is to have options before us, which options in it of themselves are blessings in that we are never fully forced to go one way but are able to decide the way we would go and how we may act.
It is by these options that we then pursue the action of choice.
We get to choose.
As Christians our entire lives are filled with thousands of choices if not millions.
The most important ones are defined by how we choose to keep the faith.
These choices include our doctrines, dogmas, sharing the Gospel, and, the most common among all the decisions, living out our faith.
The choices you make in your life as a proclaimed follower of Christ act as an example to every single person around you, especially those who have not yet placed their faith in Jesus!
This is the reason why the options we present before ourselves and the choices we make are vital.
No longer are we as the world is, no longer do we live for ourselves however we see fit, saying, “I mind my business you mind your business.”
No!
Dear Christian, we must do as Joshua says and choose us this day who we will serve!!!
Are we at a place where we have decided to follow Jesus, have we decided to repent and live out our days seeking and serving the LORD?! The options you have before yourself are dependent on the way you commonly live your life.
If you are surrounded by sin in your daily life then you will constantly be forced to face the options of sin and temptation.
If you are surrounded by a godly church, the Word of God, praises unto the Lord, quiet time, fasting, prayer, then you will automatically be surrounded by the Spirit in your daily life and the options set before you will be that of holiness.
While temptation always creeps in, be careful of what you choose that it might not lead to sin.
You have the choice to choose the Lord.
You have the choice to choose sin.
You are never forced into disobedience, you are not bound by the wicked ways.
Choose you this day the LORD!
Put aside your loss of worldly reputation and look forward to the gain of eternal life and those we might share in the joy thereof!!!
