Come Sunday Morning
Oh this life, filled with troubles, traps, trials.
We often let these issues take over our hearts. They occur so much so that people seek out therapists, they are ridden with stress, and even have these problems lead them down far worse paths.
You might be on one of those broad and lonely paths of stress yourself this very day. Finances, people, other circumstances all lead to the same result when faced alone. This world can be defined as evil. People’s own greed and pride lead them to addictions, apathy, and full out wars. That is the fallen nature of man and the broken structure of this world. But, to say that man is fallen and this world is broken is to say that there is a greater standard to the two that is waiting to be attained.
It is true, man was created to be in a more perfect state of living. This world was created to be full of life and peace. As we would say, it is what God had intended. But, man being selfish took whatever they could into their own hands and it has led us to all of this hurt of struggle, pain, death that we face day to day.
You are not alone in what you are facing. So many are on the same path you are.
To say all of this without revealing the greater truth would be to speak in vain. For there is no greater truth than when we realize that each week will come Sunday morning. Sunday morning, not just another day in the mundane week, but a day of remembrance on the greatest act of loving power to ever occur. Sunday morning is when our LORD and our Savior, the living Son of God, Jesus, rose from the grave!!! No longer was He laid down in His tomb but He rose Himself from the dead to life!
How does this help us in all of our troubles??? It is with no doubt that I can tell you, because He lives we can live in Him! Jesus did not come from Heaven to do a magic trick, He came to save every single soul! He came to free you from this world and save your soul from Hell. Because Jesus lives we can live with Him in Heaven. Because Jesus lives we can live in joy each and every day, free from our addictions, and full of life!
Do not worry for the things of this world, because come Sunday morning we are corporately reminded of the great love and freedom Jesus provides!
