Adapting to the changes invoked by COVID-19

We are discovering that most schools are transitioning to virtual classes requiring students to leave campus through the remainder of the semester. This is definitely causing an abrupt halting in on-campus meetings and outreach. Though heartbreaking, we are trusting God to use these events to awaken young people to their need for Jesus Christ. May God help us to seize this unique moment in history.

Constraints tend to bring out awesome creativity! Some groups are attempting to continue meeting off campus with those students still living in town. Others are running into the fact that most students are gone leaving little option to meet.

Here are a few ideas to continue interacting with your students and conduct ministry online.

  • Utilize Zoom which is a FREE virtual meeting platform to hold bible studies, meetings, etc.
  • You can record an audio or video file of a bible study or meeting which we can upload directly to your CFC group's webpage during this time.
  • Utilize the tools of social media.
  • Stay connected via calls and text with your students to encourage during this trying time.
