Praise the Lord!
When you think about the Lord, what is He owed?
When you begin to remember what He’s done in your life, who has He been? I cannot speak for every person, but I know that in my own life, the Lord has been faithful and merciful.
While I may not know the details of each individual in this world, I know that He has created every single person according to His image with the blessings of life and breath, offering them all truth, love and salvation. While the goodness of God is not received by every single soul, it is offered unto all souls. On this same note, God is a god of justice requiring the right payment for the sins of man, but what is unusual to us is that alongside this rightful justice the Lord shines with so great a mercy and so great a grace that is incomparable to any other example found in this world.
While the world would say that you are a lost cause and a rebel owed complete eternal punishment. The Lord says He will take your punishment for you, and will pay His own justice with His own blood that you might have life and life everlasting.
Praise the Lord today, glorify His holy name, for He has given us life, joy, and peace and shown us kindness. When I think about the Lord, I think about this new life, He has given me. The old is gone and the new is come. Truly, I am a new creation in Christ for the same Spirit which raised Christ from the dead now lives in me and the life which I now live I have it more abundantly!
When I think about the Lord, I also think about the many blessings He has bestowed onto me. He has given me many wonderful friends and a kind family. I can say to you that even if your earthly family may be broken, there is a heavenly family that the Lord brings us into. Even if your earthly body is hurt or ridden with disease, there is a heavenly body awaiting us in Heaven where we can live eternally with the Lord who loves us. When I think of these things, and so much more, I have no choice but to praise the Lord, for whatever is broken in this world will be made whole when we meet with Him at that blessed home in Heaven.
